I'm Pumla & I love designing websites.
I specialise in front-end development, and although I work with personal brands, I’m especially drawn to designing for NGOs, start-ups, and community projects.
It comes from my experience with social change initiatives plus my roots as a Social Worker (PhD) and a BCom Industrial & Organizational Psychology graduate. I get how things work, from the people to the programmes to the purpose. No pressure 😊.

Through my psychology background and a UX Design Fundamentals course, I learned how to apply research methods, conduct competitive audits, create user personas, user journey maps, empathy maps, and recognize cognitive biases.

In Canva's Graphic Design Essentials, I developed practical skills in visual communication; from working with layouts, typography, and color theory to creating professional social media graphics, presentations, and marketing materials. I also learned how to apply design principles like balance, hierarchy, and consistency to produce visuals that are both creative and user-focused.
